黄山旧名黟山，黟的意思是很多的大黑山。

但这个字比较生僻很多人不认识。让更多的人了解黄山，了解黄山旁的黟县，我们想让全世界的游客认识一个汉字，这个字念“yi”。


This is pronounced “Yi”

The ancient name of Huangshan is Yi Mountain, Yi means lots of giant black mountains.

However, this character is quite unfamiliar and many people don't recognize it. We want to introduce people from all over the world to recognize this Chinese character which is pronounced “Yi”, to know more about Huangshan and Yi County next to Mount Huangshan.
